Transit riders are ready to see their fixer-upper.
The Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments recently installed retrofit kits on five CARTA shelters – dramatically enhancing their curb appeal in the process.
“The kits are a substantial upgrade and will improve the transit experience for our ridership in North Charleston,” said CARTA Board of Directors chairman Mike Seekings.
The five new shelter locations include:
- Rivers at Eagle Landing Boulevard
- Northwoods Mall
- SC Works Charleston
- Dorchester at Leeds Avenue Rivers
- Ashley Phosphate Rivers at Durant
