Russell Anderson always had a knack for working with computers. Anderson had overcome many obstacles in life including living with a physical disability. Throughout high school, Anderson was bullied because of his disability. However, he never let this negatively affect his attitude and persevered. Working with Vocational Rehabilitation, Anderson was able to work through his disability. Still, he was left wanting more.
Anderson joined Education 2 Employment (E2E) looking for an opportunity to join the workforce. Using his talents, he began CompTIA training with Productivity Solutions and Training (PST). Anderson completed his A+ certification and is currently working on achieving his Network+ certification.
Currently, Anderson is looking towards the future. Anderson has always had an interest in broadcasting. E2E staff are working with a career coach at Palmetto Youth Connection who has a background in radio broadcasting. With their guidance, Anderson is hoping to use his computer skills and love of music to create a dynamic broadcasting career for himself.
Anderson’s great attitude is due in large part to his past experiences. Instead of allowing himself to become discouraged, he chose to push through and overcome obstacles in his way.
